The following is a fundraising drive for the medical treatment of Oromo Historian Ob. Edao Oda Boru.
On May 3, 2017, Edao Oda Boru was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, a devastating and deadly cancer.
Edao Oda is a long-time member of the diaspora Oromo community in Tennessee, he is a life-long participant in the Oromo national struggle and he is an advocate for human rights in Oromia. He is a father, a friend for many, and has throughout his life selflessly helped others in need in the community and beyond. Generally speaking, Edao Oda has dedicated countless energies to the Oromo cause for which he has immensely suffered for as a political prisoner, torture survivor and as a political exilee.
